Farm Cooking for Busy Families

Want to eat like a farmer, without spending all day in the kitchen?  Me too!!

Here, you will find mostly from-scratch recipes for those of us not organized enough to

plan--or stick to--our menu plans!

If you are anything like me, you are running in a million different directions, all at the same time.  I might homeschool and homestead, but that doesn't mean I'm "home" all the time, and it certainly doesn't mean I spend my day in the kitchen!  I have 5 kids to educate, each at different levels of learning in every subject, PLUS a farm to run, plus extracurriculars for the kids, plus drivers ed and driving the oldest to work, plus church, plus general running of a home--ya know, bills and all--and and and--just like y'all!!  So what's a girl to do when the question du jour, every day, multiple times a day, is "what's for dinner?", which starts being asked around about breakfast time?  Well, I'm not always disciplined enough to have--or stick to--menu planning.  But I always have some tips and tricks up my sleeve for quick, easy to throw together, yet still nutritious, dinners.

Each of these recipes are easy to modify--add in canned, boxed, frozen, or otherwise pre-prepared items where you need to!
